87 Short Bus
For Sale: '87 Skoolie RV- $15,000 Fun little short bus/converted RV for sale in Portland, OR. Runs and drives great, drove over the Rockies to Michigan and back 2 summers ago. RWD, but with dualies. Never had any trouble climbing a hill or getting stuck in the mud. Even hit 85 MPH in it a couple times. Odometer says 80,000 miles. Solar panel powers lights, fan, radio and a couple outlets. Haven't run out of juice with it yet, but haven't tried a mini fridge or cooking off the solar. Dinette/sleeping area with adjustable height table. Queen size bed with custom cushions converts to a U-shaped dinette with seating for 5 at least. Lots of storage, including under seats and in the cabinets and even a closet. Previous owner lived in it full time, shuttled snowboarders to the mountain and it was originally a school bus, we've used it as a road-trip-mobile, so it's got versatility. It's shorter than our Tacoma and fits in most parking spots, but still feels roomy inside.
